January 2009: A loss for words
I once met a man who told me "words don't matter". Having lived by the pen for over 10 years now, I find that hard to believe. Words do matter, especially more so in this age of technology and technological advances. We have less and less direct contact with our counterparts and colleagues as we interface with computers to get that message across, and we use words.
Have you ever considered the messages that are presented in your community that are always there? How do they affect you? Do they matter?
